Take the guesswork out of your Path to Riches. One hotkey press away.
Native, lightweight, fast*, open-source, multi-platform** and privacy-first price check overlay tool for Path of Exile. A live economy requires live data - this is the tool that lets you in on them in one place and at a glance, minimising the friction between the (for sure) multi-mirror item you've dropped and otherwise would vendor for Alteration shards.

Early development. It works and it is used daily, but settings, interfaces and the panel layout all still move.

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\PathOfPriceCheck and asks for no administrator rights. The portable .zip goes wherever you put it.Both downloads are unsigned, so Windows shows "Windows protected your PC" the first time you run them - a code-signing certificate is a yearly fee this project does not charge anyone for. Choose More info → Run anyway. Every release is built in public by GitHub Actions from the source in this repository, and the checksums are published with it.
The tarball is the bare executable, so it wants from the system what the AppImage carries for you:
libcurl, with whichever TLS stack it was built againstlibXext, libXfixes, libXtstBoth downloads need glibc 2.35 or newer, libstdc++, libX11 and an OpenGL driver (libglvnd / libGL) - those belong to the session rather than to the application, so nothing can bundle them. The window also loads libXcursor, libXi, libXrandr and libxkbcommon where they exist, and the tray icon needs GTK 3 with libayatana-appindicator3; without that one the app still runs, it just has nothing to quit from.
These are library names, not package names - those differ by distribution. Building from source carries per-distribution lists, but those are the development headers for compiling rather than this.
Path of Exile needs one as well, so this is less a requirement than an observation.
Privacy is not a setting you have to find here - it's the default. No account, no telemetry, no analytics, no crash reporting, no usage counter, and no server of ours on the other end to collect any of it with. What goes out is what a price check needs, to the same hosts your browser would talk to, and nothing else leaves the machine. The one thing you can send is a bug report, and only by pressing the button: the dialog shows you the whole of it - the screenshot too, if you tick that box - before any of it moves.
